✯ Gaia: Primordial Earth-goddess in ancient Greek religion. Gaia was the great mother of all - The heavenly gods and Titans were descended from her union with Uranus (the sky), the sea-gods from her union with Pontus (the sea), the Giants from her mating with Tartarus (the hell-pit) and mortal creatures were sprung or born from her earthy flesh. Michael Fassbender as Cronos. In the classic and most well known version of Greek mythology, Cronos was the leader and the youngest of the first generation of Titans. He overthrew his father Uranus and ruled during the mythological Golden Age, until he was overthrown by his own son Zeus and imprisoned in Tartarus. Cronos was usually depicted with a sickle, which was the instrument he used to castrate and depose Uranus.
Alcyoneus was a traditional opponent of the hero Heracles. He was usually considered to be one of the Gigantes, the offspring of Gaia born from the blood of the castrated Uranus.
