Aphrodite was, in fact, widely worshipped as a goddess of the sea and of seafaring; she was also honoured as a goddess of war, especially

It's amazing how many new discoveries we have made through our consciousness and technology. Initially in astrology we where looking at seven planets: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Now we have expanded after discovering them: Pluto, Uranus, Neptune and Ceres. Ceres is one of the asteroids in the Jupiter belt but is as big as Pluto, so it is like Pluto a dwarf planet. The family around Jupiter where linked to the females around the planet Jupiter in ancient mythology wh...

First-Ever Asteroid With Rings Knocks Astronomers for a Loop
Chariklo, a 160-mile-wide (258-mile-wide) world named after a nymph in Greek mythology, orbits between Saturn and Uranus and is the largest of a class of objects known as Centaurs, has been discovered to be the first asteroid with rings. The fact that the rings are so sharply confined suggests that "shepherd moons" may be keeping them in line.

The planets were named based of Roman and Greek mythology. Apart from Earth which is Germanic and old English. As the Romans and Greeks named the first few visible planets later when Herschel discovered Uranus they kept with the Greek mythology route.

Greek Mythology fact of the day:- Aphrodite was the first 'born', a full grown woman, from sea foam. WHICH was formed by the castrated genitals of her father, Uranus, being thrown into the sea. But other sources also mention she was the child of Zeus and Dione.🤷‍♀️

That explains why your head is totally unextractable from Uranus on the subject. You've been taught mythology as fact and that education is only backed up by more mythology. But at least you've evolved on the subject of evolution, time was "god made everything as it is right now"

In greek mythology, Earth is a Goddess called Gaia and her husband is the Sky: Uranus. In fact, Earth is a living and sentient being, and the Sky is the air that she breathes.

One of my favorite Greek Mythology fun facts, the birth of Aphrodite. She emerged from the spurting foam of the genitals of Uranus, which were severed and tossed into the ocean when he was overthrown by Cronus, youngest of the Titans.
